A Brief History - Since that day in 1981 when Judi Girard Stefflre bought the struggling little Alhambra-based trucking company (with six small trucks), Rail Delivery has become one of the busiest and most successful intermodal trucking companies in California. In its state-of-the-art 7.5 acre facility in Fontana, California, this woman-owned company fits its customers’ needs extraordinarily well.

We are active in the American Trucking Associations, ATA’s Intermodal Conference, the California Trucking Association and the Intermodal Association of North America.
In the late 1990s, Rail Delivery was voted as one of the Top 10 Woman-Owned Businesses in the Nation by Entrepreneur Magazine and Dun and Bradstreet. We’ve earned the Drayage Carrier of the Year award, Excalibur Award from Consolidated/Big Lots and numerous On-time Awards from Hub City and Pacer Global. Most of the On-time awards recognized us for 98 percent to 100 percent on-time (in a Southern California area known for its horrendous gridlock!).
Moving Forward - Today’s Rail Delivery Services’ headquarters facility in Fontana, California, features a dual, state-of-the-art warehouse facility with 54,000 square feet of warehouse space, 24 customized truck docks, 7,000 square feet of office space, three T-1 Internet lines, space for 100 53-foot trailers, docks for 150 trailer units. More than 150 trailers visit our facility daily.
We are strategically located in the center of Southern California’s transportation hub, within a 10 mile radius of 80 percent of the largest distribution centers. We are designed and built for years of growth and customized service to our clients.
